A GLASGOW rapper is to explore social class in Scotland in a new TV series.
Darren McGarvery will put the country's differences under the microscope in the BBC Scotland documentary Class Wars.
Across four episodes, the Pollok-born entertainer will confront the existence of social class in Scotland today and its impact.
He'll also challenge his own perceptions along the way, meeting the likes of Erin Bleakley – an East End teenager who challenged the Scottish Government on last year's exam results.
He said: "I have spent a lifetime railing against the middle classes, but I am at a crossroads.
"In this series I’m seeing how others live and I’m starting to question my own social class.”
Class Wars starts on the BBC Scotland channel tonight at 10pm.
