A CITY centre seafood restaurant has closed due to the impact of lockdown and Covid-19.
Bosses at Mussel Inn, on Hope Street, say they have taken the decision with regret and that is wasn't possible to continue in the "present circumstances".
However, they have left the door open to a possible return if "the situation changes" in future.

In a statement, chiefs said: "It is with regret that we are closing Mussel Inn's Glasgow restaurant.
"Unfortunately, we cannot continue to operate under the present circumstances.
"We would like to say a huge thank you to our customers both local and who travelled from afar and the many who came back again and again.
"A huge thanks also to our staff who always went above and beyond to deliver the excellent customer service our diners deserve.

"If the situation changes it is possible we may return to Glasgow."
Bosses say they will keep the chain's existing Edinburgh site open in the meantime.
Glasgow and most of Scotland was placed back under lockdown restrictions last month, meaning pubs, bars, and restaurants had to close.
