A stolen car was set on fire about three miles from where it was taken.
The white Audi S3 was reported stolen from Limeside Avenue, Rutherglen on Monday, February 15.
Later that day, it was torched outside a lock-up area on Mill Road, Cambuslang.
It was set on fire between 6.30pm and 7pm on Monday.
Detective constable John Law of Cambuslang Police Office said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this theft and fire and we are viewing CCTV footage to gather more information.
“I would urge any witnesses to the fire, or anyone who seen this vehicle in the local area on Monday, 15 February to contact us as they may have information that will assist our investigation.”
