Parts of Glasgow will be taken over from tomorrow for the filming of a new crime drama.

Filming of Annika will see road closures across the city until March 21.

The series will consist of six hour-long episodes and will air on the crime drama channel Alibi.

It is based on a successful Radio 4 drama written by Nick Walker and will star Nicola Walker as DI Annika Strandhed.

Nicola Walker said: "Annika navigates the world, her work and her home life in fabulously unique and unusual ways and I can't wait to see her come to life in Scotland."
