Elaine C Smith has given her stamp of approval to a young girl's reading of the Glasgow Gruffalo.
The Baillieston-born actress praised the four-year-old and said "she reads it much better than me".
A video of Jessica reading the Glasgow adaption of the children's book has been viewed by thousands on Facebook.
Elaine C Smith translated the popular children's story in 2016.
Sharing the video of the young girl, the actress said: "Wonderful Jessica!

"I’m delighted with this - and she reads it much better than me! Well done Jessica and much luv [sic].
Mum Kerry Fullerton said she was "gobsmacked" by the response the video after receiving messages from across the world.
