ARE you looking to move into a career where spirits are high? Then we might have just the job for you...

Bacardi is on the look-out for a multi-skilled bulk technician to join its team in Glasgow.

Based in a warehouse on London Road in the East End, the firm is offering a permanent role for a shift worker.

In an advert on our sister site s1jobs, bosses write: “[You will be] responsible for the execution of agreed planned/corrective maintenance tasks on shift and take an active role in improving the way we carry out maintenance.

“This includes logging work done so that faults, problems and defects are captured.

“[You will] assist with asset projects from concept and design through to implementation, testing and final handover, ensuring that asset drawings and registers are updated to reflect changes.”

In return, the company says it will offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Elsewhere in the city, a rare opportunity has appeared for those who would like to enter the world of childcare.

Glasgow Clyde College is on the hunt for a child development officer to join its team in Anniesland.

Bosses write: “This post will provide nursery care for children in a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment.

“You will work as part of a team to deliver a flexible and high-quality education and care service to children up to the age of five. You will plan, prepare, organise, display and provide learning experiences for children which supports them.”
