REVELLERS at a Covid rules-defying party were fined and a man arrested after cops broke up the West End do. 

Officers were called to the illegal bash in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

Party-goers had gathered in an abandoned railway tunnel near Kelvindale Road.

Four people were slapped with fines for breaching strict Covid rules and a 20-year-old man was charged with culpable and reckless conduct. 

Others were dispersed from the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We received a report of a large gathering in a tunnel in Kelvindale Road in Glasgow at around 3.20am on Sunday, 21 February.

"Officers attended and four people received fixed penalty notices for breaching coronavirus regulations and one man, aged 20, was charged with culpable and reckless conduct.

"The rest of the group dispersed."
