There have been new 572 cases of Covid-19 reported in Scotland in the past 24 hours.
According to Scottish Government statistics, there have been two deaths reported in the same period.
A total of 78 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid.
Meanwhile, 837 people were in hospital yesterday.
Of the new cases, 171 were under NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 114 were in NHS Lothian and 95 were in NHS Lanarkshire.
1,593,695 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 76,512 have received their second dose.
The daily test positivity rate increased since yesterday and is 3.8%, after 17,663 tests reported results.
Yesterday, there were 525 new cases and 18 deaths registered of people who tested positive for Covid-19.
