BRAZEN thieves are targeting parked cars for parts in the East End.

Police were called to reports that parts were being pinched from parked cars in broad daylight yesterday afternoon. 

It is thought the thieves were targeting cars for catalytic converters.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to Sword Street, Glasgow around 2.30pm on Saturday, February 27 to reports of parts being stolen from cars.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
