A NEW shop will create new jobs when it opens in the south of the city.
The upcoming Darnley branch of Toolstation will create seven new jobs when it opens on Monday, March 8 in Darnley Mains Road.
Open to professionals and the public, the shop will sell products for DIY, housebuilding and tradespeople.

Store manager Stephanie Gibson said: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople DIYers and home builders with tools and more in Darnley.
"We recognise the importance of challenging times and our knowledgeable team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service for the essentials they need to tackle any task.”
The shop is classed as essential retail under the current coronavirus restrictions.
