A man was seriously assaulted inside a Lanarkshire home before a car was torched.
Two men entered the property on Ettrick Street, Wishaw around 9.25pm on Thursday.
They assaulted the 34-year-old and then yeset the car on fire.
The 34-year-old victim taken to Wishaw General Hospital with serious injuries.

Firefighters were called to put out the blaze.
The men are thought to have made off in a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Volvo.
Detective Constable David Duers, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim who sustained serious injuries as a result.
“The suspects arrived and left the scene in a dark coloured vehicle, believed to be a Volvo. I would encourage anyone who saw the vehicle before or after the incident to get in touch with police.
“Anyone with information which could assist our investigation is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 3192 of 4 March.”
