A TEENAGER has been arrested after a late-night "disturbance" in Glasgow. 

The 17-year-old woman is alleged to have been involved in the incident on York Street at around 10.40pm on Monday. 

Eyewitnesses have told the Glasgow Times several teenagers were "running about and screaming" before a girl passed out on the floor. 

Officers confirmed they attended the scene last night and arrested the teenager in connection with the incident.

A report is due to be submitted to the procurator fiscal. 

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a report of concern for a person in York Street, Glasgow, around 10.40pm on Monday, 15 March.

"Officers attended and a 17-year-old woman was later arrested. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
