Rangers have been dubbed 'undisputed kings of Glasgow' in new billboards erected by kit manufacturer Castore in the city centre.

The sports brand celebrated Gers' first Premiership title in 10 years by splashing the cash for the messages to appear throughout the city.

One poster read: "Undisputed kings of Glasgow. Can you see us now? #BetterNeverStops". It comes as Rangers supporters used the phrase 'Can you see us now?' with a flyover during Dundee United's clash with Celtic two weeks ago where they were officially declared champions of Scottish football's top tier.

Castore co-founder Tom Beahon revealed details of the displays, insisting the billboards allow the brand to show their pride in being associated with the club. He said: "At Castore we're proud to partner with such a huge club such as Rangers. These billboards allow us to demonstrate the pride we feel in playing our part in the team's success, whilst introducing a little terrace spirit at the same time."

Gers recently signed a five-year deal with Castore - partners with Andy Murray - worth £20million. The sportswear company recently produced commemorative Rangers home shirts with gold embroidery.

We told how the brand had seen a huge spike in sales following the Ibrox outfits' success.
