A FUNDRAISER has been launched to support the family of murdered Kamil Charyszyn.

The father-of-two was stabbed to death in Conisborough Road in Easterhouse on Sunday night.

Charlene Reynolds, the whip-round's organiser said that his partner Agnieszka and their two children were "destroyed" by the 35-year-old's brutal death after a row involving three men and a woman.

She added: "Let’s come together to help them through this horrible time."

So far, more than £7000 has been raised by generous donors.

Human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar backed the fund and identified Kamil as a Celtic fan. It is understood the police are not treating the murder as Old Firm-related.

He said: "I hope all decent people come together to help them through this horrific time."

Detective Chief Inspector Alan McAlpine, Major Investigation Team, said: “We are working to establish the exact circumstances of what has happened and why.

“A young man has lost his life and we need to trace whoever is responsible. I am sure members of the local community will have information around this incident and I would urge them to pass it on.
