HE'S back on our screens in the TV show that's got the whole country talking.
Now, Martin Compston is being tipped to land the leading role as one of the most famous men in cinema.
The Greenock superstar has seen his odds slashed in the race to become the next James Bond on the back of the successful return of Line of Duty.

With Daniel Craig due to bow out after the much delayed No Time to Die - set for release later this year - Compston is third in the running, according to bookmaker BoyleSports.
The 36-year-old was a 50/1 outsider before Steve Arnott’s reappearance in the offices of AC-12 last Sunday, but now he's behind only Tom Hardy and James Norton with odds of 7/2 and was recently given the seal of approval from co-star Adrian Dunbar.
Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “The Line of Duty buzz is back with a bang and punters obviously think they are on to something by backing Martin Compston to be the next Bond.

"He clearly suits those waistcoats and although we had him as a 50/1 outsider last week, we’ve had to slash him into 7/2 with liabilities on the rise.”
