A LANARKSHIRE couple has celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary after being reunited for the first time in three months.
John and Sandra Woods were reunited at Hatton Lea Care Home in Bellshill, where Sandra has been a resident since New Year.
John was last able to see Sandra when she entered the care home, after Covid-19 restrictions kept visitors from seeing loved ones.

Now the couple have been able to celebrate in style after restrictions were relaxed, with John able to see his wife indoors for the first time since she moved to the Bellshill care home.
June Sugden, care home manager, said: “It was a wonderful celebration for Sandra and John.
“The staff were so glad to join them and have the chance to help make their big day so special. It was wonderful to see them enjoy it so much and have time together again."
