PLACES of worship had plenty to rejoice and be glad in after returning in Glasgow today.
Churches and temples were among those to open their doors following an easing of Scottish Government restrictions.
Others such as mosques and synagogues have also been given the go ahead to return after three months of limited services due to the Covid lockdown.

However, a landmark ruling this week found the Scottish Government's restrictions had been illegal and so a small number of places of worship - including St Mary's Catholic Church in Calton - opened yesterday.
But most waited until today and distanced themselves from the legal bid by a group of Christian clergymen from across Scotland.

Under new guidelines, gatherings must be limited to no more than 50 people and measures such as physical distancing have to be observed.
Our photographer spent time in St Patrick's Catholic Church, Anderston, and the Hindu Mandir on La Belle Place this morning to mark their reopening.
