A SOUTH SIDE road has been locked down by armed police for a "pre-planned operation".
Officers have closed off Hopeman Road, in Thornliebank, as part of a raid on a property on the street.
The Glasgow Times understands locals have been told to stay indoors as cops swoop on a home.

It's unclear at this time what the operation relates to and police have remained tight-lipped.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers are carrying out a pre-planned operation on Friday, March 26, at an address in Hopeman Road.
"Enquiries are ongoing at this time.”
