More than 500 people have have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
Figures released by the Scottish Government reveal that the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 today is 563.
A total of 25,519 new tests for reported results, with a positivity rate of 2.4% lower than the figure the World Health Organisation (WHO) considers the marker for an epidemic being under control.
The number of people being treated in hospital including intensive care is 283.
Since yesterday 26 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid-19.
Six new deaths have been registered taking the overall toll from the virus to 7,578.
Scotland's vaccination programme is well under way with 2,358,807 people now having recieved their first dose of the vaccine and 294,714 people having received their second dose of the vaccine.
