TWO men donning black clothing forced entry into a Pollok home and attacked its occupants with blades.
An emergency response was called to the scene on Meiklerig Crescent at 3am on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old male resident was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
The culprits - who smashed the windows to gain entry - fled the scene leaving eastwards on Meiklerig Crescent after the incident.

Police have launched a probe into the assault and are appealing for anybody who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage to come forward.
Detective Constable Paul Hendry of Govan Police Station said: "Our inquiries into the is incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch.
"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from around the time of the incident.
"If you can help then please call 101, quoting incident 0321 of 30 March, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
