PICTURES show police scouring the scene of a murder bid outside a row of shops in North Glasgow.
An investigation is underway after "despicable" thugs tried to kill a man in Skerry Street last night.

Three men rushed out of a Volkswagen Golf and a dark saloon car and attacked the man with bladed weapons before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The 27-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to his injuries. Medics described his condition as serious but stable.
The first suspect is described as white and wearing a khaki top, a bubble jacket with the hood up and face covered, dark bottoms and black trainers.
The second suspect is described as white and wearing all black clothing with the hood up and face covered.

The third suspect is described as white and wearing a black hooded top with a large white Nike logo across the chest, black bottoms and his face covered.
Detectives are treating the incident as attempted murder and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Graham McCreadie from Maryhill CID said: “This is believed to have been a targeted attack on the victim, who has been left seriously injured, and it is vital we trace the despicable individuals responsible.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or noticed anything at all suspicious, to come forward.
“In particular, we would urge any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area at the time to please check their footage in case they have captured anything of significance, such as the vehicles involved.
