POLICE have revealed that around 70 litres of alcohol was seized from East Renfrewshire youngsters at the weekend.
Officers have been patrolling open spaces where young people tend to gather and say these patrols will continue.
It comes following ongoing complaints of anti-social behaviour.

In a post on Twitter, East Renfrewshire Police wrote: "So far, during the course of this holiday weekend, officers in East Ren have seized in excess of 70 litres of alcohol from young people gathered in public open spaces.
"We continue to patrol these areas due to ongoing complaints of anti-social behaviour."

Last week, officers revealed that members of the public complained about large groups of youths drinking, causing damage, and commiting acts of disorder and violence.
