FIRST MINISTER Nicola Sturgeon is expected to give an update on schools today.
She will deliver an announcement to Scots on the expected easing of the current coronavirus lockdown.
Specifically, Ms Sturgeon will be speaking about the return of kids to schools after the Easter break.

Currently, a full-time return of pupils to classrooms is due from April 12.

Ms Sturgeon said: "I will be giving a Covid briefing at 12 noon today. As well as a general update, I will set out @scotgov current expectation for the return of pupils to full-time schooling after the Easter break.
"Tune in if you can."
It comes after the nation moved from a "stay home" rule on Friday to "stay local".
