He pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday to assaulting the two women.

The court heard the Walsh and Miss Brown had been in a relationship since 2006 which ended in 2018.

Walsh had been at the property earlier that day looking for Miss Brown who was not there.

He then returned with two men while intoxicated before he confronted Miss Brown.

Prosecutor Hannah Sweeney said: “He grabbed Miss Brown by the body and threw her to the ground.

“He pinned her down and put his arm over her throat.

“Miss Brown told him to get off of her as she couldn’t breathe.”

Miss Ryan stepped in but was initially pushed away before being grabbed by the brute.

Miss Sweeney added: “He pinned both women down and picked up a knife and held it at both their faces.

“They later stated that they thought Walsh would use the knife to kill them and the incident lasted two minutes.”

The three men left the property before Miss Ryan kicked the wheel of the car they got into.
