A MAN will stand trial accused of demanding entry into a neighbour’s property by impersonating a police officer.

Edward Ferguson allegedly simulated talking into a police radio at the property in Glasgow’s Possilpark on May 6 2020.

The 63-year-old is further alleged to have repeatedly banged on the window and door.

It is also stated that he gesticulated in an aggressive manner while demanding entry.

Ferguson pleaded not guilty to separate charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive behaviour and impersonating a police officer.

A trial was fixed for May this year by Sheriff Gerry McMillan and Ferguson remains on bail for the matter.
