A major police probe has been launched following the sudden death of a woman in Maryhill.
Specialist police forensic officers were searching for clues tonight following the woman's death.
The force said their probe comes after they were called to Cumlodden Drive on Tuesday evening.
They provided no further details on what happened to the woman and her age is unknown.
Tonight officers sealed off the area while forensics searched the front of a block of flats.
Neighbours told The Glasgow Times that they hadn't heard anything until the police showed up.
A force spokesman said: "Officers were called to an address in Cumlodden Drive at around 5.25pm on Tuesday, April 6 following a sudden death of a woman.
"Enquiries are ongoing and a police presence remains in the area."
