AN ELDERLY man has been taken to hospital after a crash along the M8.
An emergency response was called to the scene near Kingston Bridge yesterday afternoon.
The pensioner was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution following the two-vehicle collision.

There were no reports of serious injuries.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At 2.40pm on Tuesday, April 6, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the eastbound carriageway of the Kingston Bridge.
“There were no reports of serious injuries, however an elderly man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precautionary measure.”
