'Sharpened metal pole' and 'machete' allegedly seized from duo in city centre
WEAPONS have allegedly been seized from two men in the city centre.
A "sharpened metal pole" and a "machete" were allegedly seized from the duo on Tuesday evening.
It comes after officers from the Divisional Voilence Reduction Unit carried out stop and search operations in the area.

The two men were arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland statement reads: "On Tuesday night, officers from Divisional Violence Reduction Unit carried out a stop and search of two males in city centre.
"Both subsequently apprehended after allegedly being found in possession of a sharpened metal pole and a machete."
