A SECTION of a busy street was cordoned off this afternoon following a disturbance.
Cops were on the scene outside Buzz Bingo on Hawthorn Street in Possilpark.
Locals reported seeing a man lying by the side of the road with two police officers standing close to him.
Police have confirmed a man sustained a head injury and was taken to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary by ambulance for treatment.
A spokeswoman said: "Around 4.50 pm on Wednesday, 14 April, 2021, police received a report of a disturbance in Hawthorn Street, Glasgow.
“On arrival they found a man with a head injury. He has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.”
