A TEENAGER had to be cut out of a baby swing at a children's play park last night.
Firefighters attended the incident at Brockburn Road in Crookston at around 9.15.
It is understood that the girl and a friend were on their way to return lost property when they decided to visit the park on the way home.
The girls contacted their parents after becoming stuck in the play equipment who then contacted the fire brigade.
There was one fire engine at the scene and cutting equipment had to be used to free the girl.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed that a crew was in attendance last night. She said: "One appliance attended. One teenager was stuck in a baby swing. Cutting gear was used to get her out."
However, locals have raised concerns about the lack of activities for young people in the area with one saying: "Is it not better they were stuck in a swing in a playpark than breaking car windows or getting accused of stuff elsewhere?
"Like seriously what would you actually like the kids to do and go? This place is rubbish for teens."
