£2,000,000 has been raised for charities throughout Scotland by this year's group of Kiltwalkers, with the event still to take place.

The Kiltwalk, which normally sees thousands of keen fundraisers walk through cities such as Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, is taking the virtual route this year, following the postponement of the 2020 edition of the event.

The Virtual Kiltwalk will take place from April 23 to April 25, and has already raised money for more than 900 charities located throughout Scotland

Sir Tom Hunter, who supports the annual walk through The Hunter Foundation by topping donations made by 50%, said: “With just one week until Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk, I’d like to challenge as many Scots as possible to do something really special and take my money!"
