A FOOTBALL supporters club in has been targeted by mindless vandals for the second time in a week.

Staff at the Greenock Rangers Supporters' Club were left stunned as more hate-filled sectarian graffiti was spray-painted on the side of their Bank Street/Lyle Street building.

Vandals left death threats across the wall last week, and a repeat attack followed on Friday evening.

A spokesperson for the club said: "When we first noticed it we all just shook our heads in sheer disbelief - it's madness that it has happened for the second time.

"Most of our members are just older guys in for a pint and a chat, they don't want any trouble.

"It's beyond a joke and staggering that someone would do this twice in one week."

The committee of the club are now in discussions about installing a CCTV system on the grounds to prevent further attacks.

Police are appealing for any information or dash cam footage regarding either incident.

Information can be reported to police on 101 quoting KC00400421 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
