RESIDENTS were shocked by smoke billowing from the scene of a house fire.
Emergency services were called to the blaze this afternoon.
There are no reports of any injuries but crews remain at the scene in The Cuillains, Uddingston.
The blaze started on decking outside a home and spread from a fence onto a semi-detached property, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said.

A fire service spokeswoman said: "We were alerted at 2.36pm on Monday, April 19, to reports of a fence and decking on fire at a property at The Cuillins, Uddingston.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised two appliances to the scene, where a fire had spread to a semi-detached property, and a further four appliances were mobilised.
“Crews are currently still in attendance and there are no reported casualties at this time.”
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police were made aware of a fire at a property in The Cuillins, Uddingston, around 2.50pm on Monday, April 19, 2021.
“Emergency services are in attendance and no-one has been injured.”
