IT'S been the go-to holiday hotspot for generations of Glaswegians. Now, the Isle of Cumbrae has been recreated in a popular video game.
Students from Abertay University, in Dundee, have used Minecraft to build a heritage-themed experience for children.
Designed to engage young people with Millport's history, Cumbraecraft comes with eight distinct lessons and features well-known landmarks from the island.
Fergus Coyne, one of the students behind the project, said: “It was great to be able to create a game which will allow children to learn more about the history of their local area as well as showcase the tourism offering on the island.”
