GLASGOW will be hotter than Barcelona this weekend as a mini heatwave is forecasted to hit the city.
Residents have already been enjoying the sunshine as blue skies towered over Glasgow yesterday afternoon.
Temperatures are forecasted to reach 17° tomorrow while residents in the Spanish capital will see cooler temperatures of 15°.

Through to Saturday, Glaswegians can expect a bright but chilly start to the day with warmer temperatures in the afternoon.
The forecast reads: "It will be a dry and bright day with good spells of sunshine. A chilly start but feeling warm in the afternoon sunshine with light winds Maximum temperature 17 °C.
In the evening: "Dry with well-broken cloud, clear skies overnight leading to a fairly widespread frost. A few shallow mist and fog patches possible around dawn. Minimum temperature -3 °C."
