A CYCLIST was left seriously injured after a driver allegedly forced him off the road.
The 47-year-old motorist is suspected of being under the influence of drink or drugs at the time.
The 50-year-old man was cycling along Greenock Road in Bishopton when the driver of a Volkswagen Golf is said to have failed to see him turning into a junction.

The cyclist had to take evasive action which caused him to hit a parked motor.
Cops arrested the driver at the scene and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident number 2572, April 20, 2021.
