A Glasgow driver prompted a high-speed chase through Glasgow after spending away from a compliant stop.
The white Citroen C4 was pulled over on the Broomielaw near Finnieston Street just after midnight on Saturday.
Just as officers approached the vehicle, it sped off with a U-turn up Finnieston Street.
The police pursued the driver in a four-mile chase through the city, including St. Vincent Street, Kingston Bridge, West Street, Scotland Street and Seaward Street.

The car was then driven up an off-ramp of the M77 and the driver continued driving the wrong way down the motorway.
Police officers abandoned the chase out of safety concerns.
The last sighting of the car, which was using a false registration, was on the M77 at J2 near Silverburn.
Officers are reviewing CCTV footage for any additional information on the occupants of the car.
Detective Inspector Steven Watson said: “I am appealing to motorists and taxi drivers for any further information on the car and its occupants, in particular those with dash cams, I would ask you to check your images as you may have captured footage which could prove to be important in our enquiries.
"If you have any information on this incident or the vehicle, please do get in touch.”
