It is not thought a crime was committed but there are speed restrictions in place along the Clyde.

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers were notified about the presence of a rib style boat on the River Clyde in Glasgow shortly before 1pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

"The craft was later traced near to Greenock and the sole male occupant spoken to. No further police action is expected.”
