BRAZEN thieves stole £15,000 worth of scaffolding from a site in Castlemilk.

It is not known exactly when the robbers struck but the heist is thought to have been carried out between 4pm on Saturday, April 24 and 9am on Monday, April 26. 

Police are investigating the Cressdale Drive theft and believe locals may have seen suspect people or vehicles in the area in this time.

A spokesman for the force said: "We are appealing for information after scaffolding worth around £15,000 was stolen from a site at Cressdale Drive, Glasgow between 4pm on Saturday, April 24 and 9am on Monday, April 26, 2021.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles around the area is asked to come forward.
