A FIRE gutted a woman’s home in the early hours of the morning.
Residents in Rosslyn Way, Renfrew, were woken today by firefighters who evacuated them from their homes.
The blaze broke out in the quiet suburban street in Renfrewshire shortly before 6am.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the inferno, which left the end terrace house ravaged.
A police spokesman said the fire was being treated as "unexplained".
He added: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 6.11am on Thursday, April 29 to reports of a dwelling fire at Rosslyn Way, Renfrew.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and firefighters have extinguished a fire within an end terraced house in a two-storey building.
“Crews have now left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
