THE BODY of a man was discovered in Pollok Park today.
Emergency services were called to the wooded area between Cockerhill Farm and Cockerhill road at 12.30pm.
A post mortem is due to be carried out, however the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers currently remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At 12.30pm on Friday, April 30, the body of a man was found in a wooded area near to Corkerhill Farm, off Corkerhill Road, near to the M77, Glasgow.
"Police are in attendance.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course, however, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
