RESIDENTS are being asked to have their say on the future of a local museum.
Paisley Museum is currently undergoing a £42million rennovation and service operators Renfrewshire Leisure are holding a series of creative conversations with locals to best understand the needs of communities the facility serves.
The consultations will build on a series of themes that emerged from previous engagement sessions and will look closely at the kinds of events the museum will host following the rennovations.
Project director of the rennovation, Kirsty Devine said: “The transformed museum will not just be about celebrating our globally-important past, but being inspired by it to forge a stronger future.
“That’s a future that will undoubtedly be framed by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and the impact it has had on local lives.”
