A MAN was rushed to hospital after a crash on a major road in Glasgow's South Side.
He was hurt in an incident on the M74 at around 3.40pm yesterday when a car hit the roadside barrier between junction 1 and 1A.
The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "About 3.40pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 a one vehicle road traffic crash happened on the northbound carriageway of the M74 motorway between Junctions 1 and 1A.
"A Volkswagen Golf car was involved and struck the roadside barrier.
"As a result the male driver of the car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries."
