A DEPOT has been evacuated after a "fault" with a gas boiler.
Employees at Broomhill Depot in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, were escorted from the building yesterday afternoon.
Scottish Gas Network engineers attended and it became apparent there was a "fault" with the gas meter.
The issue is due to be repaired today.

Thomas Glen, Depute Chief Executive of Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate
Assets, said: "One of the external gas meters at our Broomhill site, which
is maintained by our supplier, developed a fault earlier today.
"The meter was isolated and all boilers switched off immediately.
"Scottish GasNetworks attended the site and identified the problem. Our supplier was
promptly notified and the building evacuated for a short time as a
precaution.
"The meter is scheduled to be repaired on Tuesday, May 4."
