A MAN has died after he was found injured in the middle of the road earlier today.
Police were called to Holmhead Place in Cathcart at around 8.45 this morning and cordoned off the street.
Emergency services stayed on the scene until this afternoon where a private ambulance was seen leaving at around 2.10pm.
Cops confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and the man's family are aware.
Local residents reported that there had been a heavy police presence in the area throughout the day.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 8:45am on Thursday, May 6, police received a report a man had been found injured in Holmhead Place, Cathcart.
"Emergency services are currently on the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
