GLASGOW city centre really is becoming a no-go. All you read now are stories about attacks.

It’s so sad to see incidents such as these happen so regularly now.

I remember Glasgow city centre used to feel safe and it would be enjoyable to get a bus in and go shopping.

I wouldn’t dare now. It’s just not a welcoming place now-a-days.

I SEE football fans complaining about the amount of tickets being offered for the FA Cup final this year.

I think they should just be happy that they are getting into a game.

Fans across the country would do anything to get in to watch a game.

IF ticket examiners and conductors want to be paid the same as drivers, why don’t they just train and get a job as a driver (ScotRail ticket examiners to strike amid overtime payments feud, Glasgow Times online), instead of getting a job they know is lower-paid then demanding the same as drivers despite not doing the same job?

I AGREE with your reader on Friday about foreign travel.

I think Nicola Sturgeon will do anything to ensure no-one is able to travel abroad from Scotland.

I will definitely be ignoring her advice and travelling to Newcastle or Manchester if it’s prohibited from Scotland.

The rules are beyond a joke now.

There can’t be one rule for foreign travel in England and one for Scotland.

A four nations approach is key for everyone going forward.

This isn’t a time to try and make a point through party politics.

I WENT for my vaccine last week at the SSE Hydro and was very impressed with the organisation and how friendly all the staff were.

It was great to see so many people out to get their Covid jab and I hope this continues.

The staff made you feel very welcome and were available to answer any questions.

IT’S great to see outdoor hospitality opened up again. It’s been far too long.

I can’t wait to see indoor hospitality return too.

YESTERDAY’S front page on the heartbreak of brothers after their butcher shop was destroyed in a blaze led to many comments.

Brilliant butchers and great guys gutted for them.

The best steak pies in Glasgow.

So sad. Great wee butcher. Peter and the staff are so lovely.
