Police are continuing their appeal for the public's help as part of an ongoing investigation into a sexual assault in Kirkintilloch.

It comes as we reported yesterday that the description of the suspect had been released.

Last night, Friday, April 30, officers revisited the scene one week on from the attack, speaking to a number of people trying to get more information about the incident.

The enquiries were carried out between 9pm and midnight on the canal path and officers would like to thank those who spoke to them.
