Make-up is great until you have to take it off at the end of the day and I prefer this to happen as quickly as possible.
Wipes are fast, effective and cheap but they aren't great for the environment or the skin.
My skin is on the dry side so I lean towards more moisturising cleansers and make-up removers but find the oilier ones can really irritate the eyes.
However there are no such problems with London brand Pixi's hydrating, milky make-up remover, which is paraben free and not tested on animals.
As well as removing all my make-up (including false eyelash adhesive pen) my skin actually looked and felt better after using it.
It contains coconut and probiotics to help moisturise and balance the skin, Willow Bark to tone and Cinnamon Extract for anti-inflammatory benefits. It is perhaps better suited to drier or normal skin than oilier complexions but I won't be returning to wipes.
Pixi Hydrating Milky Make-Up Remover is priced £24 and available from www.pixibeauty.co.uk
