POLICE have spoken out on the murder of Alan Richie after two men were found guilty at the High Court.
Michael Toal, 50, and Terence Morgan, 32, were sentenced to 20 years and 19 years respectively after being found guilty of the crime which took place on March 10, 2020.
At around 10pm, Alan Richie, 61, was found by emergency services with serious injuries following a report of an injured man within a flat on Kennishead Avenue.
He died at the scene a short time later.

Detective Chief Inspector Alan McAlpine of the Major Investigation Team (West) said: “I want to take this opportunity to thank members of the public for coming forward and assisting with our investigation, which led to this prosecution.
"This guilty verdict will never bring Alan back but hopefully it will bring some sense of justice to his family.
“Violent crime has no place in society and we will work alongside our partners at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal service to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice and removed from our communities.”
