John Dalziel died at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following a house fire in Paisley.
POLICE have confirmed that a person has been charged in connection with the death of a man following a fatal house fire in Paisley.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged after fire crews were called to a property on Whites Bridge Avenue at 10.05pm on Thursday May, 6.
John Dalziel, 47, was found by emergency services at the scene and taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The 38-year-old man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday May, 11.
